SMS reminders
Configure Twilio credentials to send SMS reminders alongside email, with a shared schedule and monthly limits of 100 or 500 messages depending on plan.
Pro plan and above.
Send SMS reminders to clients when onboardings are approaching their due date. SMS works alongside email reminders and follows the same schedule.
Setup
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Enter your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and From Phone Number. Find these in your Twilio Console.
- Click Save.
- Go to Settings > Client experience and enable SMS reminders.
Reminder schedule
SMS reminders follow the same schedule as email reminders. Configure the schedule in Settings > Client experience:
- Choose when to send reminders relative to the due date (for example, 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before).
- Both email and SMS reminders fire at the same intervals.
Reminders are only sent for onboardings that have a due date set and are not yet completed.
Monthly limits
SMS sending limits depend on your plan:
| Plan | SMS per month |
|---|---|
| Pro | 100 |
| Business | 500 |
You can track your SMS usage in Settings > Client experience. When you reach your monthly limit, SMS reminders stop until the next billing cycle. Email reminders continue regardless.
What clients receive
Clients receive a short text message with your business name and a link to their onboarding form. The message reminds them of their due date and provides a direct link to continue where they left off.
SMS reminders require a phone number on the client's profile. If no phone number is set, only email reminders are sent for that client.
